You are the Foundation and community support is the lifeline of the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.

A variety of fundraising events are offered by the Foundation each year. Other events are sponsored by groups or individuals who then donate the proceeds to the Foundation.

Ladies’ Nite Out

Save the date, Thursday, September 19, 6-9 p.m., for the fourth annual Ladies’ Nite Out at Wilson’s Garden Center. This will be an evening of fun, fashion, food, and flowers. New this year—wine tasting.

Tickets are $20 each (buy 10, get one free) and go on sale August 9 at Wilson’s (740)763-2873 and Hospice of Central Ohio office (740)788-1503. Proceeds benefit the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio and support programs of Hospice of Central Ohio.

Golf Outing Thank You

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the 2013 Golf Outing at the Links at Echo Springs a success. Hospice of Central Ohio recently honored volunteers at the annual Volunteer Recognition dinner. The Good Neighbor Award was presented to Caring in Sharing Group of Trinity United Church of Christ. The Spirit of Hospice “Rookie” of the Year Award was sponsored by Home Instead and presented to Russell Olson. The Center of Care Award was sponsored by Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home and was presented to Dorle Ehmann. The Kathleen Brown Leadership Award was also sponsored by Criss-Schoedinger and was presented to Gretchen Davis.
